I honestly thought this was going to have a more plastic-type feel to it. It's very soft. I am a plus-size girl. It fits perfectly! Adjustable neck. Nice and big around the middle. Cute pocket. I cannot wait to cook in it!

The media could not be loaded. The good: I LOVE this apron. First of all, it's adorable. If I'm going to be pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen, I'm going to dress the part and this has all the adorable 50's housewife flair I'm looking for -it's even cute enough for a little "honey-I'm-home" 100% wholesome dramatic play, if you catch my drift and that's your thing. It fits me comfortably, but it isn't so much fabric that I won't be equally comfortable wearing it once the baby weight is gone. Actually, the fabric is my favorite part! It's LIGHT and THIN. My other kitchen aprons kind of feel like I'm wearing a ship-sail or cinched up painter's drop cloth or something "“ this I can forget I have on while moving around the kitchen. And let's be honest here, the whole reason I got this over other aprons is the spill resistance of the fabric (which works impressively well so far). While I absolutely look the part of domestic goddess while wearing the thing, truth is sadly it doesn't magically increase my gracefulness and I am, quite literally, a hot mess in the kitchen. I can't count the number of outfits I've totally destroyed with spills, splashes, and just the good-ol' counter lean that catches my chub every time. I'm actually going to get a second one of these to gift my bestie who does food photography.
The not so good: Only a couple of really tiny drawbacks and certainly neither are enough to lose a star over "“ 1: the maroon ink ran into the tan on a couple of places. Looks like mine may have been cut near the end of the ream of fabric, so might just be my luck. It's not overly noticeable, and doesn't bother me. 2: print availability. I really do love this apron, but I'm not always about the classic style. Would buy tons more of these if I could get them in different trendy prints or with clever funny sayings!
