A little inconvenient

This is a little inconvenient to clean out, and needs frequent cleaning. I have found that a 50/50 vinegar water soak does the trick, and I admit, I haven't used their mystery cleaning agent because I don't know what's in it!
If I had this to do over, I'd spend the extra money for something larger or easier to clean. But it's a great little distiller, we make and use about a gallon a day. I clean it about every 3 days.

We need a lot of distilled water for our humidifier and felt like I was spending so much buying all that water. We decided to buy a water distiller and we are so happy with our decision. Our distiller has already paid for itself. No more spending money on the water and no more plastic bottles to dispose of. We are also amazed at the junk that is cleaned out of the water. It's actually disgusting.

I decided to get this for my coffee machine, plants and appliances. Got tired of buying distilled water gallons. Now I can get water when I need it. It is safe to use and turns off by itself. There is a little humming of the machine when is on but its white noise so not annoying. I hope it last. So far so good.

1 Fairly large for a countertop piece, but it does fit. Just ensure it is not under your cabinets, as it needs room to vent the heat
2 Does make noise and is somewhat heavy, but not bad on either point.
3 Could use a longer power cord.

2 Pretty easy to clean

Another note because some reviewers said their units leaked:
1 Only experienced leak the first time we used. This was because the top starting pulsating every so often about half way through and it jarred the spout enough for it to miss the collection bottle. As long as you watch it to ensure it stays aligned, no issues.
Question:
1 Which brings me to my question. First two times we used it, the top did pulsate up and down. The next two times we used it, it did not. Is this normal?
Overall, we are very pleased with the machine.

Constantly running to the store for distilled water for a CPAP machine feels a lot like discovering that last bit of milk in the bottom of the gallon in the refrigerator when you need a whole cup. It is super annoying. This solves my problem of special store trips for one stupid item. Yes, I could stock my bunker with gallons and gallons of inexpensive store-bought distilled water but I don't have the room or the patience. This machine has added more ease to my life.
