I have a handled thermal mug and it won't sit in my car's cupholder, making for very dicey balance/spill potential. This insert provides a secure seat, but is a bit bulky in my little sedan console. Be sure to expand the base bumpers to seat securely (rather slick feature). I may trim the rubber tabs to make it a less grabby, as the wide base and handle slot are all I really needed. Would probably be an awesome solution for the larger drink vessels listed as compatible. The added phone pocket (not in my pic) is a nice option.
