These are made very well and sturdy AF. I like to put two latches on my gates (top and bottom) for I have huge dogs and gives me a sense of security as well. You can also use these for any wood craft you are making if this is the type of latch you are going for. The color is solid. The only thing I didn't like was the screws it came with. But daddy always said to never use the screws that any package comes with. Use your own or buy good ones. As the ones that packages come with always break on installation.
