I never write reviews. This book has totally changed my life. So much so that it deserves a review. I have read so many self help books, go to therapy, daily meetings in recovery... this book has been a total game changer in my recovery. Especially the codependency section. I go to a lot of 12 step meetings, but the fact that this book comes at the subject of codependency from the perspective of recovering from narcissistic abuse, totally put a different spin on codependency for me and how to REALLY recover from it. The stuff in this book is powerful and it works. It's not easy. It's not always easy to change our patterns, it doesn't happen over night. It takes work. I am worth it. You are worth it. My recovery took a HUGE leap forward with this book, learning from it and using the tools in it. I am excited to read it all again in fact.
