I love these screws and I was really happy to find such a good assortment at a reasonable price. I use this type of screw a lot. This type of screw is self-tapping. In reality, that works much better in metal than wood, but if you are careful you can also do wood with them. This isn't a problem with these screws, this is something that happens will all screws of this type.

These are #8 diameter size. These are phillips head type. The flattened head and wide collar make these great for holding things down. I really like the assortment in this, having 6 different lengths. The really short one is a bonus for me, as I often need one of these for something thin, but cannot find them in my area. The black coloring will come in very handy, as all I can find in my area are the shiny metal variety. They drill well into sheet metal. The plastic container box is nice, it has 6 compartments, but each compartment also has 2 additional dividers, for future use with something else maybe.

These are a 5* and strong recommendation.

had no problem with the delivery the package was packed well and no damage but the container of the crews ha d broken hinges which made it useless all the decals are on a broken box

Great assortment for the price. These are actually #6 at .161 not #8 at .166

The first thing that impressed me is the Phillips head. A number 2 Phillips bit fits snugly into the head "“ much better than the zinc plated truss head screws I've gotten from Lowes. Installing them with a cordless drill set to max torque (drill setting) didn't ding up the Phillips slots when the screws seated.

I tested the screws on 1/8" aluminum, 16 gauge soft steel, and even a scrap of very hard 50 year old cedar 2x4. The self-drilling tip worked flawlessly on all 3 materials.

And the packaging is superb. Not only do they come with a storage box, but each size is bagged in a Ziploc bag in their own compartment of the storage box. No chance that when delivered to the end user they'll require time to sort out a jumbled mess! Nice consideration!
