If you think Kuboda when I say tractor this is your ripper. If the picture of a 60 horse John Deere popped into your head, naw this just isn't gonna work. It is just too light duty for that.

One of the few sellers who actually listens to customers. The ripper didn't work out too well in my case I purchased it for specifically as I was working tough compacted soil with lots of tree roots. The soil was never worked previously between tree rows. However for soil that's been worked or for use in area without significant roots this would work just fine.

I really like the design and price of this item and it works well. However, be aware that the cast iron is VERY soft on the ripper blade! As you can see in the photo, the blade bent (I only had it in the ground a few inches) and caused the finish to flake off. I got the job done, but I have never seen cast iron that thick bend in the "wide" direction! If it had not bent, I would have given it 5 stars. I don't know if I'll use it again or not. The angle when mounted is a bit off now.
