When it arrived it was completely out of the box and loose inside the plastic bag. Only one crack in one of the blade holders!! Works very well!!

Great addition to the kitchen

I admit that I do not enjoy chopping fruits and vegetables, although I love having everything in perfect strips or cubes. So this chopper is made for me. It comes with an amazing array of blades and they are sharp! I cut my hand on one of them just taking it out of the box, so beware! (I also admit that I wasn't being as careful as I should have been.)

The chopping tools work very well and save a ton of time. I haven't yet used the slicers, mostly because I have a guillotine-type slicer where I simply have to feed the vegetables into a chute. I'm looking forward to trying out some of the more unusual slicing tools, though, like the julienne blade. The chopper comes with cleaning tools as well as an instruction manual that includes recipes.

Lol I've been excited to get one of these just to cut time and make everything equal. I'm doing meal prep so this will definitely help a lot.

I got this to replace my old "as seen on TV" onion chopper, which developed a crack on the side of the base compartment after years of frequent use, so was living on borrowed time. This one has waaay more parts than that one, and once you open it, you'll never get them all back together the way they came, so storage is kind of a pain. I ended up putting it in a plastic bag so all the parts stay together. Also the instructions are not good - it doesn't tell you how to swap out the two different lids, & I was afraid to break it by just pulling it apart, but that is actually what you have to do. It's very flexible in terms of all the ways it can cut stuff. It has 2 different chopping setups, one where you press down on it for dicing, and one where you slide veggies across it for slicing & shredding. The push-down chopper part works well. My husband actually likes it better than our trusty old one because it's angled up slightly, which makes it more comfortable to use. The shredder/slicer part could use some improvement in design. The blade area for that is quite small compared to a box grater, so for shredding you have to use very short strokes, which means of course many more strokes, which tires your hand & arm out more. (Look at the picture they have of someone shredding a carrot & you'll see what I mean.) Also when you shred, a lot of the shreds end up on top of the device, & then as you continue to shred, they kind of go all over - see my pic. I'm giving it 3 stars because the chopper is invaluable if you cook a lot, but the other part isn't as useful. I can't speak to the durability because I haven't had it very long yet, but I'll update this if any issues arise.
UPDATE: I used the julienne blade for the first time last night and it works great. We couldn't believe how quick & easy it was to julienne. Increasing to 4 stars. Will continue to update as I try more blades.
