The projector is packed nicely with a cardboard box for the accessories and a foam enclosure for the projector itself. It's sure to arrive safely and is protected from any jostling or bumping during delivery.
First impressions of the projector
It has a decent sized large lens where the light comes out. Nothing flopping around/loose inside or outside. It's got a focus wheel and also keystone to get the image to present properly on the wall. Included is a protective lens cover. On the bottom is a little foot that unscrews to tilt the projector up or down so you don't need a book or something to aim it properly. The feet on the bottom have rubber bumpers on them which is a nice touch to keep it from sliding around. The tripod easily screws into the bottom and is adjustable many ways. The inputs are labeled well in case you are new to all the ways devices can be connected to this projector.
Setup
I had an easy time setting this up. I quickly hooked up to my wifi connection. The instructions and also an FAQ are easy to follow "“ just hook it up to your home wifi and away you go. I also hooked up a blu-ray player with an HDMI cable and that worked well also.
I used Miracast using wifi and my older android phone (about 2 years). I was able to cast my phone to the projector wirelessly and watch videos without any issues. Some other projectors I noticed lag and choppiness but this was really smooth.
Bluetooth worked great also. I have a stand alone Bluetooth speaker and it connected easily and more importantly there wasn't any stutter or lag to the sound, an issue I have seen with other projectors.

Performance
Out of the box, the picture is pretty bright, and, of course it depends how dark the room is but even during the day with windows drawn the picture is pretty amazing. I put this in my man cave mainly to watch you tube videos. The projector has an internal fan but it's barely noticeable. I put it in dynamic picture mode for more "pop".
Streaming thru Wi-Fi worked great. Also, thru the blu ray player the picture was great and did not see any artifacts or strange pixilation, stuff like that.
The sound is ok; hooking it up to a Bluetooth speaker is the best way to go. The remote is simple to use and we found you don't have to point it right at the projector for it to work fine.
Overall, this is such an awesome value for the price point.

Bought this based on the many positive reviews, but these must be by people who have some experience using these things because the user manual is pitiful. It consists of pictures with one or two words. No actual step by step instructions for the average person on how to use these things. Reminiscent of the early days of computers for the general public with manuals written by computer geeks. The geeks were clueless as to what people needed to know and this spawned the "For Dummies" series of books so that average people could actually use the device. I could not find a more detailed manual on line and tried multiple connections to view photos taken on a Samsung A 71 phone and Sony camera, without success. Would like to be able to use this device, but may have to return it since I don't need a doorstop.
Update: After submitting the above review I received an email from Melissa to try to resolve the issues I was having with the projector, and even offered a $100 gift card for Prime Day to replace the projector with a different one, if I wanted. I very appreciated the offer and outreach, and wanted to try and keep this one, as I felt that it is a good quality product for the money. While I couldn't get my Samsung Galaxy phone A71 to stay mirrored, I was able to do so with my Galaxy Tablet and mirror it to show photographs. I did make adjustments to the picture settings, but haven't been able to get the reds to look deep red rather than deep reddish orange (for example, cherries at a fruit stand), but still nice clear picture and surprisingly good sound. I did notice that part of the problem I was having getting the projector to respond was due to a rather flimsy remote control (with fresh batteries) that only seemed to work intermittently. Melissa said she would send a replacement, so we'll see how the new one works. Despite the flimsy remote and somewhat sketchy user manual, I'm revising my review to 5 stars, due to the good value for the money, and the excellent customer service.

This projector is great bang for your buck. The picture quality is really quite exceptional and very comparable to other higher end projectors. The sound quality is also good without any sound bar connected to it. I was able to use my Amazon fire stick with the projector with no problems. The projector is portable and comes with a little tripod , so you can move it around to different spots in and out of the house. It is easy to use, my little boy really enjoyed using the projector and was easily able to navigate it. Don't hesitate to buy this projector, especially if you aren't trying to break the bank.

This product is very simple to set up. I like the quality. The fact that I could connect it with My fire stick is amazing. The only thing I would recommend is to hook it up to a speaker the sound quality isn't so great but overall for the price is pretty decent.
