I bought these because I am just tired of dealing with chains. I have chains in the car, just in case these do not work. I over complicated on installing them the first time, so don't be like me. After I thought of just putting it on like a sock, it went right over. The first time I stopped a few times to make sure they were on correct and were not rubbing etc.
I did not have any issues with them on. I felt very confident in their use. They performed amazingly. I had to drive on them over 50miles one way over snow, ice, and even bare road. When I took them off.. I thought I would see tears- nothing. They look amazing, and am excited about them. I used a wipe to clean them off, and will wash them when the snow season is over.
Living in the Pacific Northwest, we have to be ready for anything. I will definitely keep buying these ones. I did a lot of research, and the original Auto Socks just seems to tear up when used- some dude even had them on his Tesla on the back, and these ones on the front. The other ones had ripped when went onto the gravel. Great product and well worth the money!
Excellent alternative to traditional chains

Works great. Used recently in a snowstorm on snow packed roads. Easy to put on. A bit harder to take off with the frozen snow on it but still manageable. Like with other products like this, they are only designed to be used on snowy/snowpacked roads, if there's any asphalt, take them off.
They are easy to install

Have not really had a chance to drive with them yet. These were purchased for emergency use and fortunately we have not used them yet! We are old enough we don't want to be installing chains on our rig, but these go on easily so will give them a try!
Definitely Worth Purchasing

These snow socks are awesome! Bought them for a road trip that might have bad winter weather and they worked GREAT geting us out of the snowy icy roads in the mountains of Tennessee. If it wasn't for these snow socks we wouldn't be able to get out of there. They griped the roads covered with snow and ice with no problem and we made up and down and out of the mountains with no issues at all. Just put them on when we needed them and took them off when the roads were treated and clear. If you are going to be driving on bad winter roads buy them now. We highly recommend these snow socks.
work pretty well - easier than chains

Product works pretty well. Very easy to put on. Gave decent traction in snow.

They don't seem like they will last very long because after just a few miles I can see wear thin spots.

They can be tough (and very dirty) to remove, especially if they are semi frozen. Don't try to yank it off all at once. Instead, do it a little at a time on different parts of the tire. Remove the front a little, then the middle, then the back, then start over. The first time I tried to remove them I struggled, but once I got the hang of it they came off easily b
