When this arrived in a short box I became skeptical that the multiple pieces would flex and wobble.
As a property manager, I see a LOT of rough treatment of shower curtains and shower curtain rods. Most rods that I've been using are either friction fit, or screw into the wall.
The wall pocket for this rod uses a 3M adhesive back and a couple of screws. It's really stable and solid. The rod screws together and has rough adjustments on both ends to adjust the overall rod to the rough length. Then lastly, you crank down on the fine adjustment to seat the whole rod into the wall pockets.
I think these will wear well with tenants. I imagine that too much force away from the shower might pull the rod out of the pocket. That might save the rod and the wall. I ordered more for other units. I'll try to update in the future to see how these fare.

# 1 is to READ the instructions and follow them carefully. It comes with 4 rods and because i've installed a 100 of them before i initially put it together incorrectly.
Once i read the instructions it worked as advertised and is as sturdy
as a nyc skyscraper ðŸ'ï¸ .
The 3M adhesive along with the screws to secure it in the wall makes it by far the best curtain rod i've ever purchased.
ONE NOTE , before you peel the adhesive off to permanently install the shower bar support , position the support bracket on the wall and use a pencil to mark where you want it.
once you stick it too the wall IT will not come off. once you use the screws that come with it for added support That shower curtain Rod will never move again.
I give this 5 stars .
