My 5th grader is starting band this year so I purchased this to help get her started. I gave it a try myself before giving it to her and everything about it is great for young beginners. It's easy to put together and take apart and the sound quality is excellent. The case and instrument are nice and light so it'll be easy for my child to bring this to and from school. It came with gloves, a cleaning cloth, 2 reeds, a stand, and cork grease so I didn't have to purchase any additional accessories. If my daughter decides to stick with clarinet, I'll definitely purchase a better quality one but as previously mentioned, this is a great starter clarinet so I am very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it for young beginners.
