They are a great value if you don't mind the all different sizes and shapes, most of the time we chop them smaller you will not know the difference unless you want perfect mushrooms, taste great, funny looking

Great tasting, great value

These are cans of mushroom purchased 12 for $9.99. Where do you get a value like this -- basically nowhere else. It has odds & ends of different mushrooms, some of them exotic & expensive in a can. They are different sizes, shapes & textures. Is this bad? -- no, it's good but you have to know how to handle this. If you are looking for a standard button or slice button mushroom this may not be for you unless you have an open mind and want to learn a little bit about cooking. If you add these to a stew, a pressure cooker dish or something where it will be cooked for a length of time it will work out well because the mushrooms will "cookout" & become softer. Some of the larger pieces could be quickly sliced or diced up. And if you're adventurous and want to try new varieties of mushrooms it'll be good. And who else sells this for the price? - no one else. But most of the mushrooms in the can are much more expensive than ordinary mushrooms.
1/17/24- update review- I just opened another can and there were the so called umbillical mushrooms variety there - they were great- clammy almost like a razor clam consistency- just cook em a little longer and they're great.

I was raised in the orient and I appreciate all kinds of mushrooms. The mix of mushrooms are great. I don't think I will ever buy just button mushrooms again. I will always buy these. The price is great and the quality is also great.
