Lights are made strong, thick material and plug and play. I was worried that these would require a relay to have all lights come on upon hitting the high beams but it's built In. The high beams could be a little wider like some people state, but they're do-able. All in all very happy with them

One went out on dim after 3 weeks but they replace quickly with no hassle

These are great and the only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because I can't turn the headlights off while driving like I could with the factory lights. I feel so bad approaching gate guards with the super bright beams. They even asked me if I had my high beams on and I had to show them that they only got brighter. haha.

Lights look good and don't do anything weird so they work good. However, install was a bit of a pain. Yes I had to remove material from both the bucket in the Jeep as well as the lamp housing itself to make them fit right. It's a 2013 JKU. That wasn't the biggest problem. I had to use the conversion harness which was part of the issue. It doesn't plug in all the way to the lamp harness, literally leaving a 1/4" or more gap between the plugs. I worked it for a while but it wasn't to be. I ended up covering the gap with electrical tape to prevent any potential grounding or arcing. The biggest pain was the OE harness to the conversion harness. The OE plug has a keeper on it that the new harness (or bulb with conventional lights) has to snap into before the retainer will go in place. It was literally never going to work without modification. The tab is too tall and too long on the conversion harness, it has to be ground down to fit the OE plug. Once I got the first one done the other side was a cinch. Little dremel tool and file action took care of it. It's just a symptom of a cheap mold and molding prices. All this to say it can be done and the lights seem to work well. Spend a little less and get these but know it takes some work, or spend more on a known brand and likely have less modification to do.

The HWSTAR 2023 7" headlights look great, appear to be well built and, are very bright. Very nice, hard light cut off to make adjusting very easy. They come with an adapter if you have a different/older connection. This is where the fun ends. The actual fitment of the headlights do not sit in the slots. There's a notch that is just a bit too big but, with the metal headlight rings, you're able to secure them pretty nicely. While it might just be an issue with the headlight rings that I've got but, the lens portion of the light is a bit too snug into the ring. With a little force, it's possible to get them into the ring.
All in all, love the style and brightness. Installation was slightly troublesome but, would buy again.
