A pretty fun game that makes you think about your own possibility of a gambling addiction.
Must love dogs
"Push your luck" indeed, that's the only real way to win this game, so if you enjoy that randomness, you'll probably like it.

Its not too complex, but not braindead. Great after work game. The arts great too

Spots came out of absolutely nowhere and blew me away. As a simply push-you-luck game, I was surprised by the amount of depth included in this small box. Roll dice, fill in the slots on your cards to score them. Easy peasy, right? You'll be astounded as you chase a winning streak only for it to all come crumbling down, like Icarus flying to close to the sun. On your turn, you choose a trick, an action that lets you do something usually involving rolling dice. However, each action you take remove it from the pool, until there is only one left and you reset the table. It makes every choice count, even if it ultimately amounts to how many die you get to roll on a given turn. The inclusion of optional Trick cards add a great wrinkle to an already solid base game. The amount of playtime we got out of the first week alone makes it a worthy investment, and I know we'll keep playing this for years to come. Makes for a solid gift to the board game lovers in your life, as I expect many will unfairly turn their nose at it. Give it a try, you'll be happy you did.

Absolutely love this. Often break it out when I don't want to think hard for a game but still want it to feel engaging. Also a good game for friends who aren't interested in playing more complex games.
