I am taking soursop leaves tea to prevent cancer since they had found a mass that could potentially turn into it. I grew up in the Caribbean and I know this plant since I was a little girl. These leaves are good quality leaves. The bag comes sealed in a way that preserves the freshness of the leaves in a very effective manner. You will not need to transfer them to any other container if you don't wish to because it reseals great. I was told these leaves are a bit tangy/sour, but I put less than a teaspoon of Manuka honey on my tea and I have never tasted any bitterness coming from them. Maybe you prefer to take it without any sweetener and I believe that will be okay with these leaves. I put 5-7 leaves in about 9.5 oz of water and boil for about 3 minutes before I turn off the stove and let the tea cool down to my preferred temperature. I drink my tea hot 2 times per day.
