I love this. I needed it for a custom car that had no in-dash speedometer. It's not fancy, but is reliable, and does the job. It's bright enough to see during a sunny day, not so bright as to be blinding at night. Yes, as others have noted, sometimes it takes a while to find the GPS signal. I did NOT want one of those ones that reflects up onto the windshield - sometimes the angle of the sun on the windshield makes them impossible to read.
