I have 4 large dogs and 1 small dog. This is great because I don't have to worry about them running out of water if I'm away.
However, I do need to clean the dish several times a day. It's still better than those automatic pump style water bowls.. those don't work at all with so many dogs.
I need to replace the silicone element in the cap.. have no idea how do buy that, and I see above that there are filters that should be replaced?? Have no idea about those 🤷ðŸ¼"â'€ï¸

The look of this water bowl is fantastic. What i do not like is the filter. It gets nasty and the white thing that hold the filter also gets build up of grime so I am cleaning it at least once a week, which is not bad, but leaves the product less desirable. We took the filter out as it is not needed, but would like to figure out another way to get the water moving freely without the white ring. We shall see

Love this water dispenser. Absolutely no issues, my cat likes it too because he can hear/ see the water dispensing so it encourages him to drink. I just wanted to be able to take overnight trips and feel safe knowing my cat was feed and watered. It's clear and easy to see when it's running low. I got not the smallest size, but one up from that. Only needs to be filled every other week. Make sure that you have it on a flat surface or the water will not dispense enough. If your floor is uneven (and I mean drastically uneven not minimally) you can place a cloth or cardboard under the base. The tall part where the water is needs to be equal or higher than the bowl. If the bowl is higher, it thinks the water is full and will not dispense. This is very easy, a child can use it. No issues with my cat. I even placed a regular water bowl next to it to see which he preferred, and he prefers this. No electricity, it just works by gravity alone.

We've had several other similar watering stations but they were all plastic and very hard to clean. This one is very easy to clean and it is heavy enough that my Cavalier doesn't push it around. The filter is an added bonus that keeps the water fresh and clean. My dog drinks more water now than he did with the other plastic ones. The metal drinking pan lifts right out and is a breeze to clean at each refill.
This one costs a bit more than the others, but the extra money spent was well worth the expense. Great product. My recommendation? Buy one!

We love the convenience of this watering bowl. But the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the base design. Obviously done by someone who isn't in charge of cleaning. The base has on each side an open and enclosed section that is time consuming and just about impossible to keep dirt, hair and any other tiny particles that collect in it out. I have gotten tiny brushes and still there is a little crevice that is almost impossible to clean. So as we need another I will be looking for one with a better base. From the photos AFTER cleaning you can see the residue in that crevice.
