Purchased this card on Prime Day, and although the card is performing great, their product description is wrong.

First, the card requires FOUR 8-pin connectors. Not three. This is what is in their description at the time of purchase: " "¢ 3x 8-pin-to-12VHPWR cable "¢" Again, you will need FOUR available 8-pin connections to plug it into the12VHPWR cable. (Note: You will not know this until you open the box and see the12VHPWR cable or see it in the manual in 2.5 point font.)

Second, there is a button next to where you plug in the12VHPWR connector. This is for the DUAL BIOS on the card. There should be a red LED light there as well. This will indicate that the card is running in Performance Mode. Pressing the button will change the LED light to green indicating that it is in SILENT MODE"”whatever that means.

I got this card during a Prime Day deal for a little under 1k. I was originally considering a 7900XTX but between a 4080 and a 7900XTX the 4080 seemed like the better option. These cards even discounted are still overpriced but it has performed extremely well at 1440p getting ultra with good FPS in every game I have thrown at it so far paired with a 7800X3D processor.
I'm happy with it.

Benchmarks well and have enjoyed the added performance. It's not much larger than the 3080ti I had but I do still use a gpu brace with it.

I upgraded to this card from a 3070, and the increase in performance is staggering. I'm getting 160-220% increases across the board, which is awesome.

Obviously, this card offers little value for money, as Nvidia's pricing is absurd, but if you want to game comfortable at 100fps with everything maxed out at 3440x1440, this thing will get you there no sweat whatsoever.

I'm docking it one point in the overall rating because of the noise, however. For whatever reason, Zotac DOES NOT allow you to set your fan speed lower than 30%, and at 30% their fans are notably noisy. Why pretty much every other manufacturer allows you to just sit at 0% or 5% when your PC is idling or you're just browsing etc, but Zotac seems to feel the need to just pipe noise into your room is a little beyond my understanding. People have been complaining about this for almost a year now, and Zotac pretends like its nose bleeds.

If you can afford it, and if noise doesn't bother you (it's not super loud, just notable because the rest of my PC is whisper quiet), and you want to game at triple digit levels, this is a great card.

This is a big card compared to my Asus 4080. My 3080 ran so hot and this one doesn't even break a sweat playing games. The rgb cable it comes with messed with the rest of lights and synced it to the blue/green color of the card. The plug isn't needed for the card to light up. It does take 4 power plugs so I had to get a new power supply to support that.
