Our local grocery stores don't carry alfalfa sprouts and I love them on sandwiches and salads, so I decided to try these seeds. They work wonderfully and the 1 pound bag lasted nearly 6 months for us. Using a sprout kit from Amazon, the one pound bag gave us 26 jars of delightful sprouts. They are very forgiving, suffering too many waterings, not enough waterings and even high levels of chlorine in the water after having some well work done. I've already ordered another bag. Good job folks!
