I got this for my 8 year old daughter as a birthday present because she likes cooking and baking. She really enjoyed it but you will definitely need an adult to help out with the instructions because they are soooooo many. The price was a little high for what you can get compared to buying something from the store. But other than that, the cupcakes were very yummy and my daughter really enjoyed this activity.

This is a cute little kit. My kids love baking and I ordered this for us to use together. My 9 year old and I were able to do it together. The apron and chef hat are pretty small and it ended up in with the play food for when my tiny nieces come over to play. It comes with pre measured ingredients which makes it even easier to bake with! This would make a good gift for any kid who is showing interest in baking.

So this kit is very over priced but a great idea as a gift. It did not come with frosting and it was also missing a salt pack. The flavor was a little off. I could've just bought my daughter all the ingredients in the store and called it a day. I did have fun baking with my daughter and she enjoyed it also. Would I recommend this as a gift yes I would just buy frosting.

This is a great kit for family bonding and learning in the kitchen. The kids really enjoyed baking and being "in charge" since everything is pre-measured. The muffins were quite tasty as well.
My only complaint is the flour bag wasn't sealed well and did leak flour inside the box. This didn't damage or alter the recipe, but it did make for quite a messy opening.

I got the cake pop kit for my 11 year old son as a gift. It came nicely packed with all of the ingredients needed packaged individually. All of the ingredients seemed to be of good quality. The apron that is included is definitely meant for a smaller kid. This was a fun activity to do together on a day off from school. The end product was good, the cake pops were most and flavorful. The instructions were kind of wordy and could be simplified slightly to make it easier for kids to understand. While it was fun to use this kit I am not sure that you would just not do this yourself for much much cheaper. I presume that you are paying for the convenience of having everything already pre-measured and included. However for me, part of the fun of cooking with my son is the measuring of all of the ingredients so for me this kind of felt to short of an experience. Overall, I think the product is good, the end product is good I just do not think that this is really worth it for the price.
