We have a double front door with a gap in between where you could see light shine through. I had bought these roll of foam that expands and sticks on but it looked messy and would fall off. This stuff is way sturdier and worked perfect to close the gap. The gap was also uneven . Thinner in some areas and wider in others and this corrected for that
