Great for a toddler!

I was really excited to order this foldable balance beam for my toddler! The teal color looks more blue in person, which works for me because it matches our decor. Unfortunately, the stitching on one of the corners was slightly damaged on arrival. Aside from this, the materials used seems very durable. I tried to find a weight limit on the Amazon listing, but I did not see one. My 155 pound frame putting all my weight into one foot causes the foam to compress, so it seems that this was intended more for younger children. I looked at other foldable balance beams on Amazon for comparison and this one seems to be priced similarly. However, other models include grips on the bottom and a storage bag with a strap for easy storage and transportation. This beam feels plenty secure on my rug without having grips on the bottom, but a storage bag would have been a really nice feature. Overall, this product is working well for my toddler and I anticipate she will get good use out of it for several years.

My daughters favorite color (purple). The size is perfect. It's firm and sturdy so no sinking or sagging. Daughter can practice cartwheels backwalkover anything she wanted really. Except maybe spins as your feet would stick a little unlike a suede covered beam. But overall we are very happy with this for her practice skills at home.

My daughter is in Beginners gymnastic class and they have low beams very similar to this just different brand. When I saw this I figured it would be great for home practice and play, and man I made a good choice. First my daughter enjoys this and this helps with balance training. It folds up for easy storage and its light. The material is durable enough and is easy to clean if you need to. This will make a perfect gift for your little gymnast or dancer to help home practice or just something for the kids to play with. ***** mybadvice if you have cats - don't leave it around if they have scratching tendencies, it hasn't happened to me yet but the material feels like it could be punctured by cat claws
Perfect training beam for balance

This is a well made and quality balance beam for little ones to practice on. The material itself is foam, soft enough where it needs to be, yet firm so it doesn't sink when stepped on (even with adult weight). At just 2.5 inches off the ground, its not scary at all for anyone to practice their balance on. I had my little one step on and off and he loved it, quickly mastering walking the entire length of it in no time. I appreciate that the 8 foot beam folds in half making storage incredibly easy. The teal color is also a great complement and matches the teal of my nugget perfectly.
I do have one gripe however, the beam came a bit dirty. Not sure if its gotten dirty from the warehouse or if it was used but there were a few scuff marks that I could do without. Although it came wrapped in plastic, I am a bit unsure how it gotten the dirty marks. All in all, its a pretty great product and perfect for little ones (and even adults) to practice their balance on.
