Fantastic for getting in to crochet

I've wanted to learn how to crochet for years. This really helped me learn how to read my stitches and understand the various techniques used for amigurumi. The videos are extremely well done and all the materials are high quality. The final product is freaking adorable. My only issue is the price. This kit is pretty expensive, but it's easy to see where the cost comes from. As I said, the materials are insanely high quality and they all help make the process more accessible since the hardest part of crochet can be getting used to handling yarn and such. If you can get past the cost barrier, this really is a fantastic way to learn crochet.

I made a Narwhal! I honestly had little faith in myself when I started out on this endeavor, as I don't know how to crochet and am not the most crafty person. However, I now feel much more confident in learning additional crochet skills and plan to continue crocheting. If I had to do it all over again, I would, but there are some cons to this product that could be improved upon. That being said, I will not be purchasing another product, as I feel like I can find the same content on YouTube for free and save money.

* Everything is included that you would need to finish the project.
Cons:
* Videos are sometimes unclear, so you may have to research for yourself. I found the Woobles Facebook group very helpful when I was struggling at the end. Definitely join the group!
* Pricing: It's a little spendy, but I understand you're paying for the learning content and not just physical materials. If they improve their videos where there are known problems, this would justify the price more.

I have tried "beginner" knitting kits, and spent hundreds of dollars on them only to never actually figure it out. I thought I would try crochet, and I was SO RELIEVED to realize that this kit is TRULY for ANYONE literally brand new to crochet. I have an 8 month old son and I love that I can make these little animals for him! (They have a child-safe option to embroider the eyes instead of using the "safety eyes""”the plastic ones"”which is ANOTHER BONUS!)
Add to all that this super reasonable price, and I ended up finishing the penguin in 3 days and immediately bought a bunch more of these kits. A new favorite relaxing hobby for mommy down time!!! Obsessed!

I have never done crochet in my life and stumbled upon this. The instructional videos are very detailed at the beginning and slow, but do help to ensure you understand and get the necessary techniques down. As stated by others, in the later parts of the videos they do feel a little more rushed and not as detailed (found it difficult to understand sewing 3D pieces to each other). But I did manage to understand it in my own way. Would I recommend this to children, probably with supervision as even some steps seemed difficult to an adult/beginner (me). Overall, the yarn is very good, it never ripped on me and can stretch well. The tools were also great and worked well for me. I would definitely get another kit to try and learn more.
