Great toy for my 6 yo, needed some parental guidance at the beginning

My 6yo and I got some pretty patterns. These are the first 4 we did. There is a splash guard but paint still spills out so be careful. I saw paint/paper refills on Amazon so it's a good long time investment. We poured paint when it was spinning and also poured paints first and then press spinning. Used a flat small screwdriver to remove paint randomly when it was spinning. Keep experimenting and you'd definitely get some beautiful patterns.

First off, my 8 year old granddaughter LOVES this. She said it was the best present ever. However, it does make a big mess. I covered the table with an old towel as a precaution and am so glad I did. The paint does sometimes spray outside the splatter guard. After 2 or 3 paintings, the machine got so covered in paint, you could not remove the finished paper without getting paint all over your fingers. (Keep damp paper towels near by to wipe your hands!) It was quite painstaking to clean up all the plastic pieces of the spinner when we were done as the paint was everywhere. Even though my granddaughter wore a smock, she did get some paint on her clothes which did NOT come out in the wash. Despite all this, it was fun and we will definitely keep using it.

My two year old LOVES this toy. First day she played for over an hour straight with it. I didnt find it messy. Splatter is contained by splash guard and was a pretty easy little craft. She is only 2 and could do almost the whole thing by herself. I just had to swap the paper in and out for her. Would highly recommend this product!
