This detector was reasonably priced and has clear installation directions. It has been reliably blinking since I bought it, but thankfully I have never had a situation where its alarm was needed. Similar to all such alarms, that is a bit of a problem in reviewing; if I never have high CO levels in my home, I may never be able to say conclusively where or not the detector did its job. That said, I recommend this for its reasonable price and for the fact that everyone should have at least one of these detectors in their home at all times
