This blue and green heron is well made. He's brightly painted and works exactly as described. His patina stand screws together for security and the attached solar panel swivels for optimal sun exposure placement. It's difficult to identify what it is by the solar lights, but he shines brightly during the day. The rain gauge is good size and big enough to be seen from a few feet away.

Nice size yard decoration that has a rain gauge. Very good coloring. Easy to put together. Lights up at night. I just wish the lights did a better job Illuminating the body of the flamingo. It will occupy a spot in out flowerbeds.

I recently ordered the heron rain gauge. The heron arrived quickly and well packaged. I was pleasantly surprised that the metal is not thin like sheet metal. It feels substantial and sturdy. The heron gauge was easy to put together. Mine had a bit of a charge out of the box and I was able to see how nice it looked lit up. The colors are great and aren't given justice by the listing photos. It is a great addition and the star of my growing yard art collection.

I ordered the heron. The metal is good quality and the colors vibrant. It stands nice and straight. The rain collector is glass, so you'll want to put it in a spot where it won't be tripped over or run into by kids, dogs, etc.
I did drop one star because although it does have solar powered led lights, they are literally just single leds spread around the torso of the heron. They do not light up the heron, nor are they strong enough to light a path, etc. The most they do is indicate "something" (but you can't tell what) is there so you don't trip over it.

As such, I am only going to receive and review items that I have an interest in owning AND that I think are of decent quality/value. This means that my Vine Program reviews will tend to be positive - because I have no interest in receiving items that are obviously garbage or hold no interest for me.
