I'm going to rate this a 5, but for my personal preference I'd give it a 4. The reason I say this is that the mushroom flavor is a bit stronger than I expected, and I'm not personally the biggest fan of mushroom flavor. I'd like that to be a bit more subtle for my taste.

That said, this is a far cry better than Bing's chili crisp. It has a perfect amount of heat (not overpowering, but definitely there), a nice crunch, and I love that there are sesame seeds.

The container is filled to the brim which can make the first few stirs a bit tough to do without spilling, and it was a little harder to open than I expected.

Where has Momofuku Chili Crunch been all my life!? We use this on, and in, so many dishes I cannot keep count. I have tried all of the line's chili crunch products and the original one (not extra hot) is my favorite. Great on noodles, eggs, tuna salad, in ramen, on steak, etc. The heat is just right, and it adds fantastic flavor. LOVE IT!
