Held Up To A Torrential Downpour

The media could not be loaded. I finally got a chance to set this up and use it this weekend on my 2024 Subaru Outback. I was nervous because less than an hour after setting it up there was an on and off torrential downpour for about 4 hours. I went back to my car (I took cover in a friends camper) expecting everything in the back to be soaked but it was bone dry! It continued to be rainy and windy all night and I had zero problems with it. The only very minor complaint I would have is that the way the water does drain it pools into the bottom of the tent under the car. A couple little drain holes would easily fix that problem. But otherwise it took about 10 minutes to set up, 2 minutes to take down and easily fit back into the travel bag it came in. I am so excited to do a bunch of camping this summer now that I have such an easy set up.

This canopy/car tent did amazing. We put it on our 2006 Chevy Tahoe and it fit perfect. I loved it. Everyone was super impressed too! The mesh netting works great for keeping bugs out, and keeping your car cool. Plus the option the cover the mesh up if it's cold out is amazing. Hung out under the canopy out of the rain while camping and it made our space super cozy.

It was great for the price. Only concern is possibly getting scratches from the caribeaners that are keeping the tent on the car (will probably put something underneath next time). Definitely felt comfortable with it keeping my dog inside. It's lightweight, easy to set up, and easier to put away. We had good weather so not sure how it will up in wind and rain.
