My kids LOVED this toy. Once they figured out how to adjust the cars to make them stay on the track, they had a great time watching the cars zip around the track. And they are speedy!!! This was pretty easy to assemble. Our ten year old friend started it on her own. The pictured directions were surprisingly easy to follow. The tracks required a bit of muscle to snap together though. Initially, I found this toy to be a bit frustrating. The cars kept flying of the tracks, which made it pretty annoying. My son looked at the directions and figured out how to adjust the brushes on the bottom ( I couldn't figure it out), and then the toy became super fun! Keep in mind this isn't something you want to assemble over and over, so plan on a decent floor or table space. What I loved most about this product was the fact that you could either use batteries or plug it in to charge the tracks. No worries about dying batteries. Overall, very fun once you get the hang of adjusting the cars. But be prepared for some initial frustration.
