Sound quality is good, 4 out of 5 stars. Not amazing, so if you're really looking to watch movies or play video games, I'd spend more money. I plugged this into my Mac Mini, which if you know anything about Mac Minis, they have terrible sound, so it was a vast improvement. But don't expect this to blow you away.
As for ease of use, I couldn't figure out how to get it to work just by plugging it into the USB-C port on my Mac Mini. I had to use the headphone jack. So it uses the USB-C for power and the 3.5 mm jack for sound. That's fine, but I was wondering if that lowered the sound quality?
So, for the money, it's a nice buy. But make sure you understand what you're getting. It's not amazing and you need a 3.5mm jack.
