These are not playing when it comes to sturdy and sealed. The plate is not overly thick, but not thin by any means. They have some serious heft to them. They appear to be powder coated to prevent corrosion. So expect them to last. All the fasteners are for wood great for adding vertical 4x4 to your deck. If you plan on mounting on concrete you will need some 5/16th" lag bolts, an impact drill and a masonry bit.

These two post anchors/bases came just as described with what I believe is extra screws(not a complaint). They seem very solid and the coating isn't chipped anywhere so that's another plus. Measurements are just about perfect for what the seller has listed. These should work perfectly for my project. Price wise these are somewhat a deal as you can get 2 for just a bit more that the cost of 1(in my local hardware stores that is).

I used these mounting 4x4's to my deck. Well worth the money! Sturdy, consistent construction. These come with mounting bolts but I used other ones.
