My 16 year old and his friend installed this from a roof rafter within minutes. It was easily attached to the bag and they were punching in no time.
There are a few complaints, though, hence the 4 stars.
1. The screw to anchor the swivel joint can only be anchored one way and that does not work when you're hanging from an angled rafter. Not a big deal since my 45° rafter doesn't allow it to spin anyway. But something to keep in mind if you're installing at an angle.
2. The bolt that holds the first carabiner is very long. So the carabiner has about 3/4" travel right and left on the bolt, which can be annoying since it would make noise and probably also destroy the carabiner over time. I used some spacers that came with my TV wall mounts combined with some rubber toilet seat washers to remove the slack. You can probably use toilet seat bolt washers alone but I didn't have enough. Anyway, nothing some cheap rubber washers couldn't fix but still a little annoying.
3. The carabiners and the chains don't feel very heavy duty. Our bag is a small punching bag but if you have a full size, not sure how well this would hold up. Probably be fine but it just doesn't feel very beefy.
Even with those caveats, this is a good purchase.

Others who have reviewed this item were spot-on. The complete kit has (just about) everything I needed to hang a 100-lb (45 Kg) Everlast punching bag. All seems "strong enough" that it will not fail. I would add the following:
1) Within limits, the kit allows you to raise and lower the bag. It is possible to raise the caribiners higher on the 4 steel chains that connect to the bag rings, raising the bag a few inches closer to the ceiling. If you use this strategy, you'll need chain cutters to remove the excess links below the caribiners.
2) Now I understand what one reviewer meant when he commented that you need washers: there is a horizontal, machine-threaded bolt attaching the chains to the floor joist bracket; as the bag is struck and as it swings, chains can glide across those threads, creating noise and tiny steel shavings. Adding a washer (or several) along the length of that bolt prevents this annoying movement.
Overall, not quite a "five" -- but certainly a sturdy item and well-worth the purchase price.

TLDR user error possibly and not enough anchor/ bolt points. SO i did a bit of research before installing this in a concrete beam and even asked around at the hardware store what id need and well when i finally got the thing up it worked great however after some time (months or years they all blend together now) i was wailing on the bag and the whole kit and caboodle just dropped from the ceiling so perhaps only two anchor points for a vertical hang isn't quite enough. I need to figure out a way to add additional anchors for more even and reduced weight distribution. Perhaps a board or a sheet of steel...
