Wanted to replace the contractor grade doorbell buttons that were corroded and just plain ugly. I looked at several different styles but chose this one for its color and size. Installation was very easy. They covered the old switch marks well. Now both front and back doors have some style.

The exterior was nice. The rubbed bronze had a nice effect on the cream colored house. The connections were easy and it came with matching screws. I suggest pre-drilling the screw holes and installing a similar screw before installing the ones that come in the package. The included ones are aesthetic to match the switch, and, if you put too much pressure on them when installing, they become nicked or sharp and look a bit ugly.
The only disappointment I had with the product was the light. I made sure I had the proper voltage and the connections were clean. The button seems like it has two small led lights in it. When both of them are lit the switch is bright and nice looking, but most of the time, it seems like only one is lit and the button is quite dim. Once the button did not light up at all for a few days and then suddenly started working again. Maybe a bad connection inside the unit? The entire time though the chime would function properly, so I know the switch and power was good.
I didn't realize when I bought this that I got a "used, like new" one. That may be the reason for my issues..? Overall, I'm not entirely dissatisfied. It's a nice looking button. I didn't get it installed in time for the warranty. Had I returned it, I would have asked for a replacement and not a refund as I was still pleased.
