My initial reason for wanting this Widow was the color scheme. The only thing I didn't like about my Ghost was that I couldn't get it in black and red. Well, then hammer did this. Beautiful! Then I heard it was coming with the HK22 cover stock and I got a little nervous. I had my 3-D Offset Attack drilled pin down and I've had a hard time getting it where I want it but when it hit right it hit like a freight train! Well I took the chance and I'm glad I did! It even convinced me to start through my Offset again. This ball perfectly fills the gap between my Ghost Pearl and my Attack on the back end. Hooks as hard as my Attack but with the smooth controlled action of the Gas Mask core and hits hard! Im back to being unimpressed with ham bones.

Have yours drilled for down-lane hook, stand on the 40 board, walk toward the 12 board, let it roll off the tips of your fingers and watch it drive through the pins for strike after strike. I never saw such a ball. It's amazing. Takes a bit to get used to and it hooks so much that at first, you won't be able to keep it on your side of the head pin. Move left, 5 boards at a time and walk toward your mark, otherwise the reach will be too much. Best price anywhere on the Internet.

This is my first NEW ball. Have been bowling with a redrilled ball for a year and decided to treat myself. Pro shop drilled it and and I am happy with the performance. Very forgiving on the spare when it doesn't smash the strike witch is does often.

This ball was a gift for my bowling-enthusiast boyfriend and he loves it. He throws with a good amount of spin and it is consistent. Has improved his scores in comparison to the second-hand ball he had been using. It is not drilled, so factor that into the cost when purchasing--may be about the same after drilling at your local pro shop.
