Listen.. when I say this product has been a life saver I MEAN IT. Like a lot of people I will try a product, love it, then lose interest or later realize I overhyped it. I did the same with this product initially in that I lost interest. In reality what I did was overlook ALL the benefits I was receiving from adding this supplement into my routine. The best way I can give a review is tell my story and hope that someone can relate and hope that people will give it a shot and have the same AMAZING results that I am grateful to be able to share with Amazon customers.

WHY I PURCHASED: I was experiencing uncomfortable heavy menstruation after having removed Nexplanon.

ABOUT ME: I'm 43, have children, and have used Nexplanon for 2 full courses (6years) with about a 1 year break in between the two. Prior to that I periodically used oral birth control off and on since my teenage years. My periods and reproductive system have been healthy, normal cycles, and no significant medical issues.

MY STORY: After removing my second round of Nexplanon** my periods (which completely stopped for the entire 3 years of Nexplanon use) returned extremely heavy with TONS of symptoms such as pain, cramping, headaches, fatigue, dry skin, mood instability, etc. I talked to my doctor who suggested I may need to either have a hysterectomy or go back on Nexplanon to control the issue ( which wasn't an issue prior to Nexplanon use). Neither felt logical and I was confused so I delayed for months. I needed relief and since I didn't want the risks associated with continuing hormone based birth control in my 40's I SCHEDULED A SURGICAL CONSULTATION FOR A HYSTERECTOMY. Not long after I had the appointment with the surgeon I sort of happened across this supplement. I wasn't really looking for it but after seeing it, I read into it, and thought it was worth a shot. Now like a lot of people I will purchase a product, love it, and then lose interest or later realize I overhyped. I almost did that with this product because after I started taking it my symptoms subsided ESPECIALLY my period, which went back to normal. I was taking other steps to improve my health so I didn't give the credit to this DIM supplement and eventually stopped taking it because I didn't think it was making a difference. BOY WAS I WRONG. Within one cycle my body went back to horrible symptoms. (I want to mention here that although all symptoms had returned they weren't as bad as before I began this supplement at all which, to me, indicates it's possible this supplement has some long-term/semi-permanent or permanent lasting benefits.) Obviously I restarted this DIM supplement and now I see so much clearer what I overlooked the first time around.

THE BENEFITS FOR ME: The most important benefit I receive from adding this supplement to my routine is HANDS DOWN the YOUTHFUL VAGINA it has returned to me. My vag is like.. 22 year old now. Normal periods, juicy like a ripe peach, no discharge or any of the chaos that increases with this high maintenance b+*#$ as you get older. I mean it wants to be poppin on a handstand these days. My period is "normal" or light to medium flowing virtually cramp and symptom free. I now have pre-childbirth early 20's barely an inconvenience periods. 5 days tops, heavy but not disrespectfully heavy (Ultra tampon + light pad every 3-4 hours) the first 48 hours then regular (Super/Regular tampon and liner) for the next couple days and VIOLA all done. (In comparison, prior to Smoky Mountain Nutrition DIM, I had 10+/- days of extremely heavy (largest pad and strongest tampon changed every 1-2 hours for the first 5 days and still the need to continue with both hygiene products to avoid leaks for another day or two.) I cannot stress enough the mental relief not having to suffer through and cater my life around a rude menstrual cycle has given me alone. The second most important benefit I get from this supplement is mood stability. I don't have the rollercoaster of emotional then frustrated then feeling wore out and tired then tearful and so on and so on that I was experiencing prior to taking this supplement. These benefits are so great I didn't even realize how bad my hormone associated mood instability was until I took this, stopped, then started again. Other benefits include: less bloating and fatigue, clearer less dry skin, better sleep, less (none really) headaches, and stable appetite ( no cravings for salt/sugar).

I know everyone has their own struggle with hormones. We get such mixed and unclear information regarding the foods we eat (specifically meat) which causes us all, men and women, to have hormone fluctuation but there is definitely an impact from the foods we eat. Numerous medical conditions cause hormonal imbalances. Prescription meds, stress, aging... you name it and it can impact hormones which will then wreak havoc on your body in ways and with symptoms you may not even realize are occurring. This product is underrated and underadvertised. More people should know and use this product. It's AMAZING.

**DISCLAIMER: This is not a negative review of Nexplanon birth control. I actually loved this form of birth control and would use again as well as HIGHLY recommend for anyone. I have tried all forms of birth control and this one is by far the best and the winner. Like everything, there are side effects to it's use and this is just MY experience. Other factors should be taken into consideration such as my age, medical condition, number of pregnancies, etc when considering my own experience with Nexplanon that will undoubtedly be very different than your own experiences. No matter what I experienced it was worth it. Highly recommend.

Great. I feel much better after taking this daily. Also, my moon cycles have changed for the better, less blood and shorter cycle.

I like this product. Feel less moody. I still have hot flashes but it seems to be helping.

I am Day TWO taking " One" capsule of Organic Chaste Tree (( Vitex)) by Wild Harvest.
I wanted to take the DIM first and give it 2 wks. I am confused by what I have read.
Some say Vitex is " slow" embedding, that it takes a month or more for it actually to " cause effect".

Then I have read, it's so powerful, it should be taken only certain days of your monthly cycle.
I took it yesterday, I had a TON of Energy, I took it about 4 hours post taking the DIM.
