This is pretty easy to use. Make sure your potatoes are fully cooked and they will come out perfect mashed potatoes with this ricer. Because of the holes, you have to clean it carefully, as would be expected but it does clean up with attention to the holes. It has been sturdy, as long as the potatoes are soft.

This product is interesting. I wanted to make spaetzle and I did. It took a few tries before I got it down. There are 3 disks, you need to use the middle sized one for spaetzle. The large one is for gnocchi sized dough, the middle for spaetzle, the small one would be noodles. Dont make the dough too thin. It's a fun process after you get it down and delicious!
