This is a staple of my childhood. Still eat deviled ham sandwiches/ Deviled ham, mayo and some lettuce and you are good to go. Also makes a good dip. Just had some mayo and some hot sauce.

Got a pack of these to get me thru having to eat soft foods after surgery. Not sure I'd eat them all the time but they are tasty. 140 of the 150 calories are from fat. I emptied the can on paper towels and put in microwave to drain off some of the grease. Half the can volume disappeared:)

I don't usually eat stuff like this from a can but I remember eating this growing up and it still tastes great. I mix it with an almost equal amount of pickle relish (maybe that's just me)? Great to keep around for a quick sandwich. I have found that if I refrigerate the can before opening the fat solidifies at the top and can be lifted right off. As to the salt, well, I just don't eat it as often as I would like to.
