Perfect for the need

Following Derecho, a land storm at 140 mph that ripped the city apart a few years ago I hadn't figured out how to repair the right of way damage left behind by fallen trees. Destroyed grass. Until discovering the city now gives away mulch from 60% of recovered fallen trees. They shredded them and anyone can use the debris.
Rather than boxes to maintain the mulch decided to go with fabric.
What I like about this is the material isn't cheap. It's more durable than the stuff I use to get at the Dollar General.
It lays and cuts easily. There's a lot, so it was very affordable to cover the areas this was needed for.
So far I'm very happy with the results. I don't anticipate anything growing up through this barrier. Especially the Honey Locus sprouts from roots of a tree still standing.
If you have a lot of space that needs cover highly recommend this affordable wide spreading option.
Of, boxes if you don't mind they break down over time. I want something permanent.
There's a slight odor. But used outside no worries.
