My 5 yo daughter was NOT starting off well in Kgarten with wanting to write, I was having a battle. Truly ! I searched for anything to help and came across this. She is in LOVE with writing and these books! The books are a PERFECT size for her little hands, the pen is great (it has refills) and they are super easy storage in between learning (I homeschool) I cannot recommend THIS product enough. It's easy, exciting, it covers ALL the basis. You're little one will love it and so will you. She is SO proud of herself after doing her 'work' she actually asked to do more and do it again when she finished.

The media could not be loaded. I really do like these. I realize now that we would benefit by having larger letters, numbers in the books to start writing. The ink does disappear, you will still see lines and marks but it still is a great concept and the grooves really help where to put your pen. I'll just be on the hunt for a larger one starting out. We still use them daily.

The size of the books is smaller than what I expected, but good if the small kid wants to transport them. The grooves may help your kid, but do not rely much on them. I liked the fact that you recieve 10 pens with the package that their ink disappears few time after use making possible the reuse of the books. What I liked less is the pen holder (the little fish), it teared up since 2nd day.
