I don't know of another product like is one. Batteries/lights don't seem to affect the weight or dribble of the ball. It's a lot a fun at night. Only issue is after only a few weeks the lines have worn off the ball and the batteries are almost dead because this is no "off" just can't use it if you don't want lights.

I purchased this as a gift for someone who loves basketball. They pretty much had everything I could think of until I came across this. The ball is super bright and very fun to play with at night or in a darker area. It automatically shuts off on its own to save battery life which is cool. To activate it and have it light up you simply move the ball and it is lit. It also came with extra batteries and a pump, which I thought was very cool. This was a perfect gift and so far I am very happy with the quality and how awesome it looks out on the court.
