I love the stools for looks, size (doesn't take up too much space), height fits great for bar, and color (black stand, light wood). The only complaint is the base; should be slightly wider at bottom or heavier so that it's more stable. It does sway a little (so it's about 90% stable). If someone carelessly plops themself down on it, it can tilt over. Should sit down carefully. Maybe because my other stools have 4 legs vs this one legged stools (so that's the difference). I bought this bc I had small space and wanted to tuck the stools under the bar. I didn't want a large bar stool. Anyhow, still love the purchase.
