My kitchen table was running over and I had this big blank wall so I figured I'd get a nice little plant shelf. I love how it looks!
Putting it together is pretty easy if you follow the instructions. It came with an extra of almost all parts. Make sure you pay close attention to how your connecting the joints, they have a specific direction to face. It came with a little mallet which was perfect for putting it together. It also came with a pair of gloves that will fit all but the largest hands. They say it's because the way the wood is treated will turn your hands black (it's heat treated) and a bit got through the gloves so it would have been way worse without. They also helped prevent splinters, because some of the slats are a bit splinter-y.
I docked a star because as shown in the second picture, where the slates connect, there is a dip which causes pots with smaller bottoms (which of course means most of mine) to tilt. Besides that though, it's a nice little shelf.
Besides that though, it looks great!

I purchased this because my mom loaded me up with plant starts- in the winter! I have LED grow lights attached to the upper shelves and keep a vaporizer at the bottom to add humidity for my tropicals. So far, I love it. It was actually fun and easy to put together. All of the tools for assembly came with the shelves, and they included tiny little garden tools as well.

It wasn't too much of a pain to put this together, just pay close attention to the directions and organize the pieces beforehand. Practice some good patience and you'll be fine! Also, wear the gloves and keep the wood pieces off light colored carpet, the plastic stands keep the wood off the ground but touching the wood itself leaves a "charcoal finish" on your hands. Even though the build is sturdy enough for the purpose of holding up plants the finish on the wood is less than desirable. I've seen this trend with low cost wood products multiple times now, they skip out on a sealant and throw in a pair of gloves to cut costs. If you really feel like it you could throw on a coat of sealant but it shouldn't be too necessary.

I love this plant stand! It was simple to put together, comes with gloves, hammer, and one extra piece of each size just in case one is broken. Because you have to hammer each rod into brackets, the construction may be a little wobbly, but that didn't matter much to me. This is an upgrade to my outdoor space to hold all of my plants, and I'm very happy with how sturdy it is. The color is a very pretty brown, and there's plenty of space to hold different size plants. Overall a great purchase and very affordable. I'd purchase again! Highly recommend!

The plant stand fits perfectly in front of the window. It was easy to put together and also simple to follow the instructions. They provide you with one extra of each piece in case something goes wrong. The mallet that they give you was very handy for putting it together because some of the pieces fit very tightly together but a bigger mallet may break them.
Once together the stand looks a little spindley but it's very sturdy. The slats are just a little bit to wide in between but a drip tray will fix it or you can put a piece of cardboard or something else.
Overall it is a really good plant stand and I'm very happy with it.
