It works. It even impressed my wife (I have had it for several years and she just discovered it as I was showing her how well it blocked signals. I work in an environment where that is important at times) - so I gave it to her and ordered another one. I imagine, as others have noted, that after time and use (folding and unfolding) that the bag loses it's efficacy. I'd make sure to test it every once in a while... just an FYI.
