I was really concerned reading through the reviews because it seemed everyone has the same issue with button mapping in the Switch. I bought this for my Switch because the official Nintendo one is always out of stock. I'm happy to report that this does work well for switch! You need to set it to "All Star Mode" and not "Legacy Mode" like I read in some other reviews. The buttons feel nice and don't stick. Just a surprisingly good product.
It's not perfect though. I'm using it exclusively for Switch, and there are drawbacks. For one, I have to set it to "All Star Mode" each time I use it. Also, I cannot turn on my switch with it. So I have to use my pro controller or Joy-Cons then go to Controller to change the controller order to make this player one every time. That's a bit annoying, but after that it works fine. No real signal issues yet.
Once I am able to get an official Nintendo one I'll keep this for a good player 2 controller.

I have both relievers plugged in, to the pc and to the n64. When I turn on the controller, I hit the reset button if I want to switch between the two. There are buttons on the dongle and the receiver that will help if you get stuck. The n64 receiver has a switch to use either memory paks or the Rumble feature. I don't think you can use both the Rumble and the memory pak at the same time though. Still 5 stars, no more cats eating my wires now
Update: I've played a few games on the n64 that don't play nicely with the controller. Like Command & Conquer, every so often it decides its gonna move the cursor down and to the left in jumps. Then it would stop and start again randomly. I'm just gonna have to play it with a wired controller. Still 5 stars tho

This controller synced up to my Switch right away and also the review ls that people have said about it not working for the N64 games on the switch cause the button mapping socks. Well they need to pay attention to what other people have said to make it work for N64 games. I had no issues with this controller from day 1 so far. If people would just look and read directions properly they would understand and figure out how to make things work the way they are advertised to work. Instead of complaining saying it doesn't work when you didn't read directions or listen to the instructions on how to make it work how about pay attention to the information given to make sure it works before given a bad review on something that doesn't deserve a bad review.
