I've been a golfer and recreational bowmen (archery) for the last 15 years. My previous go-to rangerfinder is a $500 bushnell with the slope feature which has been awesome with one small issue. The battery is not only unreliability it's pretty darn hard to find a replacement in-store. I looked for an alternative when my dad who just got into golf was looking for a rangefinder himself. From my cousin's recommendation (he's a club pro and local country club) I took a look at this one. For $60 (after taxes) it's a steal. The yardages when compared to my bushnell are accurate (this includes the slope feature). As one reviewer stated it's not the best when locking on the flag (but so is my bushnell when playing in the wind). At 10% of the cost, I love it! Also, it's rechargeable via simple microUSB so no more worries about finding the right battery. Overall super happy. I've since given it to my dad and he loves it! His friends all want one. I might buy one for my wife for when we go target shooting together.

I bought this item solely on price and have used it several times now. It works well overall. Sometimes i have trouble locking it in on the flag (i use it for golf) but eventually it gets it.

Taken this out on a few rounds. Seemed accurate enough. Not that I've verified but if it's a yard or two off in either direction that doesn't bother me since I don't hit my irons accurate enough for a little variance to matter anyways.
I will say after purchasing this I played 2 of my best rounds in a long time, not sure if that's more on the range finder or me but having better estimates than the app on my phone for sure helped.
Pros:
- USB-C charging is great. I can always give it a charge in my car on the way if I need to.
- Super light and easy to use.
- Can turn the slope on/off in the event you want to use it in competitive rounds and they care.
- Flag lock on is amazing and easy to use. Way better than other setups I've seen at this price.
- Battery Life seems great. Hasn't died yet since I first charged it.
Cons:
- No magnet, but can't expect that at this price. If you really want that just glue one to the side.
- Carry case isnt super premium or anything, but again that's not something I'd expect for this deal.
- Every once and a while I'll get a false reading but it'll be so off you can tell I need to measure again. That's honestly more likely user error by missing the flag than the devices fault. (Pretty easy to guess that Par 3 wasn't 300 yards...) It gets it right the second time regardless.
Absolutely would recommend for new golfers or anyone on a budget.
