I wanted something to wear in my garden in the dirt. After rain my boots clog with mud quite a bit. When it is fresh it is not that easy to remove and when the boots dry off it is even worse. I wanted something with a much thinner tread on the bottom that I could slip over my shoes. These did just as I hoped. What little mud that sticks is way easier to get off after it dries than with my boots.

I bought these for a couple of upcoming expedition cruises that are nature-focused with zodiacs, including wet landings. Wellies are too heavy and bulky for travel. These are surprisingly well made. I did have to size up to XL since I need them to go over sturdy hiking shoes (women's size 10). I also have thick calves and these did fit with the elastic/ snap closure at the top. The galosh fabric is thick with some stretch and boot base is sturdy. Will be easy to pack.

The small size fit my wife's #6 boot, but the XL did not fit my #10 boot, though I could put them over a #10 gym shoe. Ordering the 2XL now in the hopes that it will fit a 10 Wolverine boot.
Update: I received the 2XL Rain Boot covers and they fit perfectly over my #10M boots that I wear when riding my motorcycle. Just something to think about when ordering yours...
