Misting fan
Flor Del Bosque✓ Verified Purchase•May 22, 2024
So I didn't read everything .. if you put ice cold water in it then you get cold mist .. the fan just helps circulate it
It is a small container for the water so I try n power it off when we go to putt .. that's the only reason of 4 * oh n the placement only reaches me when I'm at edge of my seat .. can't do it by door because I'd have to avoid knocking it down each time

The media could not be loaded. Clever little device adds comfort in unlikely places. It can sit on a nightstand or desk, or clip on to a stroller or lawn mower handle. This is a mini "swamp cooler" or evaporative cooler. They work best in hot dry climates but don't count them out in humid conditions. They do still provide a personal cooling sensation in humid situations as well.
I bought this one for an un-air conditioned farm truck in humid Hawaii. It is not air conditioning, but it does keep you cooler. You can clip it on to a tractor, golf cart, work bench, a cooler on a beach or anywhere you could use an extra boost of cool. Unlike a larger evaporative cooler that can lower the temperature in a room, this device is meant to offer a cooling sensation in a small area. And it does that pretty well.
The fan is relatively quiet and even quieter in slower speeds. Feels effective even at lower speeds. This video shows the micro mister and fan at top speed.
The reservoir is small, but it lasts long enough. The reservoir door is tight, but easier to use once you open it for the first time. You can add Ice water and maybe some thin pieces of ice in the narrow opening, but ultimately the feeling is about the same with or without the ice. Overall, this sturdy little unit is nice to have around and well worth the modest price.

I'm a Mailman, and every summer that goes by I get more intolerant to the heat. This summer I have bought 5 different neck fans and 3 different portable A/C units and this is by far the best. I am on the route anywhere from 3-3 1/2 hours and needed to refill the water barrel twice, which I don't mind taking a minute to do.(Even without water it still pushed out cold air. Just remember the colder the water, the colder the air.) On full speed the battery lasted about 2 1/2 hours, but I have a battery pack and plugged it up that way once it died. As you can see from the pictures there are many different ways you can clip it, but I found clipping to the visor to be the best option. I put rubber bands up to secure the clip more in case it started to slip, which it did not. With that A/C on the visor and the truck fan on it was a great combo. Now it's not going to be like a car A/C, but I'd say it cooled me down at least 30°, for a mail truck that's great! My only complaint is there is a rubber piece that sticks in the charging port and mine came detached so I have to tape it on just in case any water leaks in there. Other than that I'm extremely happy with this product!! The other units I've tried splashed all over the place and was just a mess, this is ideal. Just take the chance and buy it!!! You won't be disappointed!
