Great for catching oil and food stuff when grilling

This mat is thin enough to be easy to lay down and roll a grill on, while also being really strong. The material has a slightly "gummy" rubber feel to it, but it's not unpleasant. It rinses off cleanly and is easy to scrub with a deck brush too. It does a good job of catching oil and grease so that it doesn't mess up a deck or cause issues with deck paint. It can trap moisture underneath it when it rains though, so keep that in mind if you have a wood or solid deck.

While the material of this mat at first seems a little thin, it's still solid and durable; edges have a stitched nylon ribbon. The material is coated and waterproof; we use it as a grill mat, and grease and small spills clean up easy with soap and water. At 60x40" this mat is plenty big for our four-burner grill. Overall a good mat to protect the patio from heat and grease stains.

It's a magnet for dust and shoe prints and the like, but it does serve its purpose well and resists heat well. It's thinner than I was hoping for, but at this price it's still a decent value. I use it on concrete in front of my pellet grill instead of on the deck with my gas grill now because it stays put on the concrete much better than on my composite deck. It slid around the deck quite a bit more than I'd like, but I found a better purpose for it and now doubles as a grill cover in the garage as I just drape it over it. It's useful.

Fits nicely under my grill/pit combo. Hopefully I never need the protection, but it's there if I do. The materials are thinner than I had originally thought, but I think it is nice and makes it easier to handle. My deck is open to the element's, so it will hold water after a rain.
