This kit is easy to put together for the weave poles and they're pretty sturdy. The tunnel isn't the thickest of material so just be mindful of where you put it location wise to prevent rips. That being said this is great if you want to keep up weave pole, jump and tunnel practice at home. While it doesn't fully match the types used in arena's for the sport it works to know if your dog will like the sport and help prefect certain talents and skills needed while not using a course at a local agility center with a trainer.

This is a nice set of agility equipment for a beginner or for a travel set. For an advance trainer/dog, a more durable set would probably be needed. With that said, I am a beginning trainer, only training my 18 month old shepherd to keep her physically and mentally stimulated, not any competitive activities. All of the parts were easy to assemble and also easy to take apart for storage. Everything fits back in the bag nicely. It says for small, medium and large dogs, but a large dog is not going to be able to use the tunnel...my 55 pound shepherd is about as big as will fit.

I attempted to get my old dog into agility, but she was not interested so I don't know a lot about it. After recently getting a Corgi puppy a trainer mentioned agility would be a good activity for him since I don't have any livestock to heard. So far we've worked with the pause box which is nice and large, the tunnel which is also spacious, and set up the poles to test them. It all is very decent quality and comes with sleeves to keep everything together. As a complete beginner this is a great starting point as I'm having to learn the rules of each obstacle with my pup! I think it's definitely something you could add on to later (like getting or building a see-saw). I can't speak to regulation sizes, but if you just plan on using agility to exercise your dog body and mind or test their enjoyment before really diving in this is a wonderful quality starting set.
